My children wanted more child-friendly amenities and activities.

The location was perfect for a weekend getaway, with plenty to see and do nearby. We loved exploring the private park and taking a boat ride on the pond - it was a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The breakfast was also a real highlight, with a delicious selection of fresh pastries and local produce.
We did have a few issues during our stay. The room was a little cramped and could have done with some more comfortable furniture.
